Regional travel built around the team.

Your departure time starts with the team’s needs at the destination: check-in, warmups, equipment setup and the coach’s pregame routine. Share the full event schedule so travel supports the day instead of becoming another task for the team manager.

  • Central Oregon: plan departures from Bend or Redmond for games and tournaments in the Willamette Valley, Portland area or elsewhere in the region. Mountain travel and seasonal conditions need room in the schedule.
  • Eugene, Salem and Portland: discuss intercity team travel, tournament transfers and hotel-to-facility movements. Include the actual sports complex entrance, not just the city or school name.
  • Tacoma and Seattle: coordinate South Sound or Puget Sound tournament trips with hotel pickups, meal stops and venue-specific loading instructions.
  • Multi-day regional competition: request a complete program covering outbound travel, hotels, practice venues, competition sessions and the trip home. All destinations and overnight requirements need review.

These are example itineraries, subject to availability. Naming a school, league or venue in your trip request helps planning; transportation arrangements do not imply a team sponsorship or affiliation.

A team-travel checklist that goes beyond the roster.

  • Count everyone riding: include athletes, coaches, trainers, managers and chaperones. Keep the final passenger count separate from the competition roster.
  • List the gear: describe bags, uniforms, coolers and oversized or unusual equipment. Storage needs influence vehicle selection even when the seat count fits.
  • Set the required arrival: tell us the reporting time, warmup period and any equipment unloading needed before competition.
  • Build in meals and breaks: identify meal locations, desired stops and timing. An extra stop can change the full operating day.
  • Plan uncertain finishes: tournament brackets, overtime and awards can change departure time. Share the earliest and latest likely finish so alternatives can be reviewed.
  • Assign the trip lead: provide a reachable coach or team manager, boarding lists and the process for communicating approved schedule changes.

Tell the team about accessibility needs and assistance arrangements before booking. Confirm the assigned vehicle’s seating, storage and requested amenities in your quote.

One game, a full tournament or a season of travel.

For a single away game, a central pickup and scheduled return may give the team a straightforward plan. For a tournament weekend, local hotel transfers and changing game times deserve their own schedule. For repeated fixtures, send the season calendar early so our team can review each date and the overall requirements.

A practical example is a Bend club traveling to a Portland-area tournament: team loading at an approved pickup, a planned meal stop if needed, arrival before check-in, hotel transportation and a return after the final confirmed session. A Tacoma team attending a regional event may need several short movements each day rather than one long transfer. We will review the proposed itinerary and vehicle availability with you.

Youth groups should tell us their chaperone plan and any school or organization transportation requirements. The group organizer manages supervision, attendance and permission requirements; clear boarding and return instructions help everyone follow the same plan.

Supporters traveling separately can request their own charter. For end-of-season celebrations or a team ski day, explore concert trips and ski charters.

Request a quote with the whole schedule.

Send travel dates, pickup address, destination addresses, required arrival times, passenger count, equipment list and expected return. Include hotel details for overnight trips and identify any dates that are still tentative.

Ask how the quote treats waiting, revised game times, parking, extra transfers and overnight arrangements. A dedicated vehicle during competition or a flexible return needs to be part of the confirmed plan.

Team transportation questions

Can you accommodate team equipment?

Describe the type, size and quantity of equipment when you request a quote. The charter team will review storage and vehicle requirements; do not assume that every vehicle has the same luggage capacity.

What happens if a game runs late?

Discuss the likely finish range and tournament format before booking. Changes must fit vehicle and driver availability and the agreed operating plan. Contact the charter team promptly when the schedule changes.

Can we request transportation for multiple teams?

Yes. Provide passenger and equipment counts for each group, their schedules and whether they travel together. Separate movements or vehicles may be needed.

Can you review a season schedule?

Send the full calendar, including tentative dates and alternate competition sites. Each trip remains subject to availability and confirmation.
